Our Story
Founded in 1997 with divine guidance, the Islamic Center of Rindge Avenue (ICRA) has been a prominent fixture at 378 Rindge Avenue, Cambridge, MA 02140 since 2004. As an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, ICRA is dedicated to serving the spiritual and communal needs of one of the largest Muslim communities in the United States. The center hosts daily prayers five times, embodying a commitment to fostering a vibrant and engaged congregation. Over the past 16 years, ICRA has positioned itself as a leader in addressing essential obligations of community support, social services, and activism.
Our Vision
ICRA envisions a community that draws inspiration from the Quran and the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم). The goal is to cultivate a generation of devout and principled Muslims equipped with the foundational values necessary to meet the challenges of contemporary society, all while upholding moral and spiritual integrity.
